Place it after your dirt boxes and before modulation, and it thickens distorted riffs with harmonic bloom that feels organic, not synthetic. Roll back the gain and play clean, and the MO-2 opens up into glassy, flute-like textures or dense organ/synth-style pads — all from the same three-mode engine. It tracks bass guitar just as well as six-string, making it a genuinely versatile addition to a pedalboard rather than a one-trick harmonizer.
