Roll the Clean knob down and you’re in familiar overdrive territory, with all the midrange push and touch sensitivity that made the ‘808 circuit a pedalboard staple. Push it all the way up, though, and the drive character fades out entirely, leaving a transparent, full-output clean boost that’s handy for solos or pushing a tube amp into its own natural breakup.
