Description
The Legend II D2 chases the saturated, amp-in-the-room roar of a Diezel head, packing that tube-driven aggression into a pedal built for serious signal-chain flexibility. Where the original Legend series delivered the tone, the II series adds the routing tools studio engineers and gigging players actually need.
- Three simultaneous outputs: CAB SIM OUT for direct recording with speaker simulation, PREAMP OUT for feeding a power amp, and DRIVE OUT for pushing straight into a combo or head.
- Run all three at once — split signals for micing and DI recording together, feed separate effects chains, or capture multiple DAW tracks in one pass.
- CL LEVEL knob and CL BOOST switch active in bypass, letting the pedal double as a buffer for long cable runs or as a second clean channel matched in volume to the drive tone.
- OD LEVEL and OD GAIN shape output loudness and drive amount; HIGH, MIDDLE, and BASS knobs carve the EQ.
- LED indicator shows when the effect is engaged.
Set the CL LEVEL around 1 o’clock for a neutral, unbuffered bypass signal, or push it higher to compensate for signal loss across a crowded board. Engage CL BOOST and you get up to +8dB of clean lift, effectively turning the D2 into a switchable two-channel preamp with clean and overdrive sides at matched levels.
Runs on 9-12V DC, center-negative, via adapter or battery, with low power draw and a compact 110 x 62 x 58 mm footprint that won’t crowd your board.
