Description
The Suhr ISO Line Out solves a problem every dry/wet or multi-amp rig eventually runs into: how do you pull a usable line-level signal straight off a guitar amp’s speaker output without loading it down or coloring the tone? This box does exactly that, using transformer isolation to split off a clean feed for an effects processor, mixer, or recording interface — all while your amp keeps driving its speaker normally.
It’s built for players running Dry/Wet or Wet/Dry/Wet setups. Send the wet-only return from your effects chain into another amp’s effect return or power amp/speaker pairing, and you’ve got a proper stereo wet path without re-amping headaches.
Important: this is not a load box, and it’s not a cab simulator. Your amplifier must always have a speaker connected — the ISO Line Out simply rides alongside that connection, not in place of it.
- Connects to any speaker output jack via the Speaker Thru jacks; if your amp has only one output, loop through the box and out to the speaker
- Line Out jack supports both balanced and unbalanced connections, with the transformer wired to tip and ring
- Phase switch flips signal polarity — up to invert, down for normal
- GND Ref switch lets you reference box ground to the Line Out cable ground, but only when using a balanced cable; leave it down for mono/unbalanced runs
This bundle includes two free 6″ patch cables, handy for getting the ISO Line Out talking to the rest of your board without hunting for extra cabling.
