The Xotic SL Drive distills the woody, saturated growl of two legendary British amp heads—the Super Lead and Super Bass models that defined the sound behind players like Jimmy Page and Paul Kossoff—into a pedal small enough to tuck onto any board. Rather than a generic overdrive, this box is voiced to react like a real amp: dig in and it pushes into rich saturation, back off the guitar’s volume knob and it cleans up with surprising nuance.
Inside the enclosure, dip switches let you flip between the two amp voicings. Select the Super Lead setting for a brighter, more aggressive gain character, or switch to Super Bass for a darker, low-end-forward response with rolled-off highs. That flexibility means the SL Drive can sit at the front of your chain as your primary drive or work as a boost stacked ahead of other pedals, adapting to whichever amp-like flavor your rig needs.
True bypass switching keeps the signal path clean and free of coloration when the pedal is off, so it won’t compromise tone elsewhere on your board. Power it with a 9V battery or an optional AC adapter—and this bundle includes exactly that adapter, plus the cables to get it patched in right away.
