Description
The Legend II P2 digs into the gain structure of the Peavey 5150 and 6505 amps, translating that aggressive, high-gain American voice into pedal form. It’s the upgraded ‘PRO’ evolution of AMT’s original Legend Amp series, built for players who want amp-in-a-box tone without sacrificing routing flexibility.
- Three simultaneous outputs — CAB SIM OUT for direct recording with a modeled cabinet response, PREAMP OUT for feeding a power amp, and DRIVE OUT for pushing into a combo or head. Run all three at once to split signal for live rigs, multi-track DAW capture, or parallel effects chains.
- Built-in bypass buffer/boost — the CL LEVEL knob and CL BOOST switch only activate when the pedal is bypassed. Use them to keep signal strong across long cable runs, or crank the boost (+8dB) to match your clean tone’s volume to the drive channel, effectively giving you a 2-channel preamp from a single footswitch.
- Full tone-shaping control — OD LEVEL and OD GAIN dial in output and saturation, while HIGH, MIDDLE, and BASS knobs sculpt the EQ curve to match your rig.
- LED indicator shows when the drive circuit is engaged.
Compact at 110 x 62 x 58 mm, it runs on 9-12V DC (negative center) via adapter or battery, sipping power so it won’t strain your pedalboard’s supply. Whether you’re stacking it ahead of a clean amp for studio tracking or slotting it into a high-gain live chain, the P2 delivers that thick, saturated 5150-style crunch with the routing tools to place it anywhere in your signal path.
