Description
The Marc F’N Ford isn’t a tribute pedal — it’s a direct copy of the board Marc Ford actually plugs into, the product of an 11-year working relationship between the guitarist and BMF Effects. Two distinct circuits share one enclosure, each with its own footswitch and LED so you can call on them separately or run them together.
- Boost side (red LED): BMF’s GB Boost, a Germanium Booster that adds warmth, push, and low-end thickness ahead of your amp or drive.
- Drive side (orange LED): The Purple Nurple Overdrive, voiced for Marc’s own gain and dynamics preferences.
Placement is flexible thanks to the independent operation of each half. Run the GB Boost alone as a clean gain bump into a dirty amp, engage the Purple Nurple by itself for its own overdrive character, or stack the boost into the drive for a fatter, more saturated push — the GB Boost feeding into the Purple Nurple is the signature stacked order, giving you a broader tonal range than either circuit offers on its own.
Every unit is hand-built to the exact same specification as Marc’s stage pedal, so what you get on your board is the real thing, not a scaled-down version.
