Description
The GT-001 takes the amp and effects core from Boss’s flagship GT-100 (Version 2.0) and repackages it as a compact desktop unit for home studios, apartment practice sessions, or anywhere a full pedalboard just doesn’t fit. Despite the small footprint, the signal path is genuinely deep: two independent effect chains with flexible routing let you stack COSM amp models, drives, modulation, and time-based effects in whatever order your tone actually needs, from a glassy clean platform to a saturated high-gain lead stack.
- Dual effect chains with flexible amp/effects routing for building complex, re-orderable signal paths
- COSM amp modeling plus MDP effects, fully compatible with existing GT-100 V2.0 patches
- XLR mic input with phantom power and dedicated vocal/acoustic patches, alongside the standard guitar input
- Built-in multi-channel USB audio/MIDI interface for direct DAW recording and re-amping
- 1/8-inch AUX input for jamming along with a phone or music player
- Monophonic guitar-to-MIDI conversion straight from a normal 1/4-inch input—no special pickup needed
- CTL/EXP jack supports an expression pedal or up to two footswitches for real-time control and patch changes
- Runs on USB bus power or the included AC adapter
- Free Boss Tone Studio editor plus access to downloadable patches via Boss Tone Central
For anyone building a hybrid rig—amp-in-the-room tone plus DI-quality recording flexibility—the GT-001 sits neatly at the front of your chain or on the desk beside your interface, handling everything from subtle comp/EQ shaping to full-on rotary, pitch, and delay textures without eating up rack space.
