The BOSS eBand JS-10 turns practicing into a full band experience without needing an amp, PA, or separate looper. Plug in a guitar, bass, or mic and the onboard 2.1-channel speaker system — stereo pair plus subwoofer, 12W total — fills the room with a surprisingly big low end for something this portable.
Under the hood is a custom DSP chip running COSM amp modeling and effects equivalent to the flagship GT-100, giving you 130 preset patches and 100 user slots covering AMP, COMP/LIMITER, OD/DS, NOISE SUPPRESSOR, EQ, MODULATION (phaser, flanger, chorus, tremolo, rotary, uni-v, pan), DELAY, REVERB, and WAH. Two independent 1/4″ input channels, each with its own effects path, let you run guitar and vocal mic simultaneously — great for duo jams or a teacher/student setup where both parties record and trade off over the same backing track.
On the playback side, the JS-10 ships loaded with over 350 audio loops and 50 songs, including new minus-one mixes for bass, two guitars, and guitar-plus-bass combinations. Drop in your own MP3 or WAV files via USB or SD card (1GB–32GB), then use Center Cancel to strip a part for play-along practice. Tempo and key shift independently with clean, high-quality results, so you can slow down a solo to learn it or transpose a song on the fly. You can also record your live performance, effects included, directly alongside the track.
