Description
The RC-202 shrinks BOSS’s RC-505 looping architecture into a compact, hands-operated tabletop unit without cutting corners on creative control. It runs two stereo phrase tracks at once, each with its own controls and animated status indicators, so you can layer, mute, and rebuild loops mid-performance without losing the groove.
- Two simultaneous stereo phrase tracks with dedicated fingertip controls and status LEDs
- 64 phrase memories organized in 8 banks of 8, each storing two tracks plus effect and playback settings
- Save loops to memory in real time, mid-playback, for uninterrupted set transitions
- Four Input FX and four Track FX active at once — P. Shift, Lo-Fi, Ring Mod, Beat, Filter, Slicer and more, drawn from a deep effects library covering filters, modulation, delay, reverb, vocal, and beat-mangling types
- 17 onboard rhythm patterns, including odd-measure beats, for building loops around a groove
- XLR mic input with 48V phantom power, mono/stereo instrument inputs, and stereo aux input — all usable simultaneously
- Jack for up to two footswitches or an expression pedal, plus MIDI for sync with an RC-505, a second RC-202, drum machines, or a MIDI foot controller
- USB for WAV loop import/export and DAW work, and it doubles as a USB audio/MIDI interface
- Records up to roughly 3 hours of stereo audio at 44.1kHz/16-bit
For beatboxers, solo electronic performers, and any guitarist or keyboardist who needs a looper that keeps up hands-free once the song structure gets complicated, the RC-202 gives you DJ-style processing and sampler-grade flexibility in a unit small enough to live permanently on your board or table.
