True-bypass switching means your dry signal passes clean when you’re not looping, so this stays parked on the board without coloring anything upstream or down.
Ten minutes of stereo recording gives you plenty of room to layer rhythm parts, build a wall of harmony, or sketch out a full arrangement on the fly. Overdubs are unlimited, and Undo/Redo lets you back out of a bad take without nuking the whole loop. Status is dead simple to read too — dedicated LEDs for Record, Overdub, and Play mean you’re never guessing what mode you’re in mid-set.
Two features set this apart from basic loopers. Silent Clear mutes the loop the instant you press clear, so you never hear that jarring dropout through your amp. JamSync goes further, letting the Express XT lock tempo with another Express XT or a JamMan Solo XT via 1/8″ sync jacks — useful for building layered multi-looper rigs or syncing with a bandmate’s unit.
