Beyond tone-shaping, the RP360 works as a practical writing and recording tool. The built-in 40-second looper and 60 onboard drum patterns let you sketch ideas without opening a DAW, while the Sound Check function records a short phrase and loops it so you can dial in settings hands-free instead of bending over the pedal between tweaks. A 2×2 USB connection ties directly into GarageBand, Pro Tools, Cubase, Ableton, or virtually any other recording software, letting you track guitar straight to your computer and manage presets through the Nexus Editor Librarian.
Placement in your rig is flexible thanks to three footswitch modes — use Stompbox mode to assign individual effects to each switch for pedalboard-style control, or run Preset/Bank mode for straightforward patch navigation. Add an expression pedal for real-time control (including Whammy-style pitch effects) or a 3-button footswitch for extended looper and bank control.
