Practicing alone gets old fast. The DigiTech Trio+ fixes that by listening to what you play and building a matching rhythm section on the spot. Strum through your chords once with the Band footswitch engaged, tap it again, and the pedal fires back bass and drums locked to your progression and feel. Dial in the mix with dedicated Bass and Drums knobs, and flip on Simple Bass mode when you want a leaner low end instead of a busy one.
Beyond band generation, the Trio+ doubles as a full looper. Hit the Looper footswitch to lay down a phrase, then stack unlimited overdubs on top — either as a standalone loop or layered right into your generated band. A separate Loop knob keeps that layer balanced in the mix. Want extra color on your guitar tone? Switch on the built-in Guitar FX, or route your own stompboxes through the FX Send/Return jacks.
Genre coverage is deep: 12 styles including Blues, R&B, Rock, Alternative Rock, Metal, Pop, Electronic Pop, Hip-Hop, Country, Folk, Latin, and Jazz, each with 12 selectable sub-styles (3/4 or 4/4) chosen via the illuminated Style encoder. The Trio+ can also memorize up to five distinct song sections — intro, verse, chorus, bridge, outro — recallable live or sequenced to run automatically. Add the optional DigiTech FS3X footswitch through the Control In jack for hands-free part switching.
