Bone Shaker isn’t your average dirt box — it’s a distortion pedal engineered from the ground up for players who need to control massive amounts of low end without turning to mud. Black Arts Toneworks designed the circuit specifically for extended-range guitars, baritones, and basses, so anything heavy, loud, and low finds a home here. Run it alone, stack it with your other gain pedals, or push it into a dirty or clean channel — the 3-band parametric EQ gives you the final say over how brutal or refined the tone gets.
Where most distortions hand you a single tone knob and call it done, Bone Shaker splits things wide open. Beyond the core Distortion, Depth, and Level controls, you get independent Low Level, Low Frequency, Mid Level, Mid Frequency, High Level, and High Frequency knobs. That’s a genuine parametric EQ stage riding on top of the gain, letting you dial in bowel-rattling lows, aggressive midrange bite, or articulate highs — or all three at once. It’s less a tone-shaping tool and more a full-on sculpting rig for your distortion.
True bypass wiring keeps your dry signal untouched when the pedal is off, and a standard 9V power supply jack makes it easy to slot into any pedalboard’s power chain.
