Stack it with reverb, delay, or a fuzz downstream and you can build layered textures that sound like a second guitarist is holding a pad while you solo over the top.

Under the hood it’s a digital circuit with buffered bypass, so it plays nicely inline even when it’s not actively freezing—handy if you’re running it mid-chain rather than in a loop.
