The Deluxe Memory Man has been the reference point for analog delay tone for over four decades, and the Nano version packs that same bucket-brigade warmth into a footprint small enough for any board. Expect the same soft, slightly hazy repeats and lush pitch-modulated chorus/vibrato textures the big box is known for, with a couple of thoughtful upgrades layered in.
Where earlier compact versions combined modulation into a single control, this Nano splits it into independent Rate and Depth knobs, giving you far more precision when dialing in chorus shimmer or full vibrato wobble. Delay time is adjustable from 30mS to 550mS via the Delay knob, and the Feedback control lets repeats build from a couple of subtle echoes all the way to self-oscillating chaos. Blend sets the ratio of wet to dry signal, Level manages input gain, and an onboard overload LED flags when you’re pushing too much signal into the analog delay stage.
An internal switch lets you choose whether echoes trail off naturally after you disengage the pedal or cut instantly — with tails switched off, the pedal runs true bypass. Place it anywhere in a delay/modulation slot on your board; its rugged, compact chassis is built for that job, and it ships with EHX’s own 9V power supply.
