Description
Place the Nano Pulsar anywhere in your modulation block and it earns its keep as more than a basic tremolo. Six tremolo-modulating waveforms – rising and falling sawtooth, narrow and wide pulse width, plus triangle and square wave – give you control over how each pulse rises, decays, and morphs, while a Triangle/Square mode switch shapes whether the effect feels rounded and organic or choppy and gated. Run it mono for classic amp-style shimmer, or wire it in stereo and let the signal sweep across your rig for an immersive, surrounding pulse.
The Depth knob sets tremolo intensity, but push it past roughly 1 o’clock and the modulation flips asymmetric, warping the signal between positive and negative phase for a stranger, more textured tremolo tone – stack it with something like an Oceans 11’s Shimmer patch and you’re deep into synth-like territory. Rate covers everything from slow, ambient waves to frantic pulsing, and dialing both Rate and Depth toward their limits pushes the effect into ring-modulator chaos for players who want something genuinely unusual. A dedicated Volume control compensates for the perceived level drop that tremolo effects often introduce when engaged.
