The Switchblade+ is the unglamorous workhorse that keeps a complicated rig honest. Instead of adding tone-coloring circuitry, EHX kept the audio path fully passive, so whatever hits the input comes out the other end unchanged in character — just redirected where you need it.
Flip between output A and output B to jump from one amp to another, or one pedalboard chain to a completely different setup, without crawling around unplugging cables mid-set. Need both rigs singing together? Send the signal to A and B simultaneously for stereo spreads or dual-amp walls of sound. An LED indicator gives you a quick visual confirmation of which path is active, so you’re never guessing under stage lights.
The dedicated Tuner jack is hardwired directly to the input, meaning it stays live and accessible no matter which output the Switchblade+ is currently routed to. Clip a tuner or a standalone effect in there and it’s always ready, independent of your main switching decisions.
