Description
Fission Bass turns a single note into a full harmonic stack, giving bassists a way to fatten up riffs without touching a chord shape. Four footswitch-selectable combinations layer octaves, a 4th, a 5th, and even a second octave above your root note — from a clean octave-up doubling to a dense, grinding powerchord effect that guitarists will be jealous of.
Each footswitch has its own LED that stays lit dim when the effect is bypassed, so you can preview and dial in the next harmony before stomping it live. That means no surprises mid-song and faster switching between tones on the fly.
Beyond the harmony engine, Fission Bass works as a small multi-effect unit: up to 3 voices of harmony stack together, and onboard controls for noise gate, overdrive, tone, and effect level let you shape everything from a barely-there octave blend to a saturated, distorted wall of low end. It’s built around 32-bit DSP with 24-bit A/D/A conversion, housed in a lightweight but tough all-metal enclosure that can take pedalboard abuse.
