Description
Some amps got tremolo right the first time — that warm, breathing sine-wave pulse that made blackface-era Fenders so musical. Tremor bottles that exact character in pedal form, engineered by Paul Gagon, a former Fender R&D engineer who clearly knows his way around a vintage circuit. If your amp’s built-in tremolo has degraded into a jarring square-wave chop or an odd popcorn crackle, this pedal restores the smooth, organic wobble those old amps were known for at their best.
What sets Tremor apart on a board is its dual-mode design: two independent Speed controls, switchable on the fly via footswitch, each with its own LED indicator. That means you can dial in a slow, hypnotic pulse for one section of a song and snap into a faster shimmer for the next — no bending down to twist a knob mid-song, no compromise. A blue status LED pulses in time with whichever speed is active, so you can visually track the rate before you even hit a note.
Under the hood, Tremor is built for consistency and longevity: 1% metal-film resistors, high-voltage poly caps, and a military-spec circuit board keep the tone stable night after night. A 1MEG Ohm input impedance loads your pickups properly, while true hardwire bypass keeps your signal clean when the effect is off. The matte black finish with white graphics and cream knobs gives it an early-60s amp aesthetic that fits right at home on a vintage-inspired board.
