Placed at the front of your signal chain, straight into a clean or moderately driven amp, the Synister behaves less like a fuzzy overdrive and more like a cranked tube head — thick, harmonically rich, and responsive to pick attack. Chords stay defined under heavy gain, and single-note runs cut through with the kind of amp-like character that makes palm-muted riffing and lead lines equally convincing.
