The key to its flexibility is the onboard “Hot” switch. Left off, the EQ runs flat and transparent, letting your amp and guitar’s natural character shine through with just a touch of grit. Flip it on and the pedal adds gain, bumps the volume, and thickens up the low-mids for a juicy, dense feel that’s perfect for pushing an amp into breakup or for solos that need to cut without turning shrill.
