Description
The Mk3 Driver is Keeley’s collaboration with Andy Timmons, built around a classic blues-driver core and expanded with two voicing switches that push the range far beyond a typical overdrive. On your board, it earns real estate as a boost, a bark-and-bite drive stage, or a low-fi germanium fuzz — depending on where you land the controls.
The Drive switch is the heart of the flexibility: flip it to AT Clipping for asymmetrical LED diode clipping with a brighter, more articulate attack, or drop it to RK Clipping for dual germanium diodes that soften the edges into a vintage-fuzz-like compression. The Tone switch works alongside it, with the AT position keeping chords clear note-to-note, and the RK position adding a Phat Boost low-end lift that’s especially useful for driving vintage or single-coil pickups harder.

Bypass switching is handled with a precision buffer for silent, tone-preserving transitions — hold the footswitch for two seconds to flip between true bypass and buffered bypass, letting you match the pedal to whatever’s around it in the chain. Manufactured by RKFX in the USA.
