Built specifically around the Kemper Profiler’s electrical requirements, the Mission Engineering EP1-KP takes the guesswork out of expression control. Its 10K Ohm linear potentiometer is calibrated to match the Profiler exactly, so parameter sweeps feel even and predictable from heel to toe rather than bunched up at one end of the travel.
A toe-activated switch is built into the housing, letting you flip effects on and off underfoot without dedicating a separate footswitch to the job — handy real estate on a crowded board. If you don’t need that function, the switch output can simply stay unplugged.
Connection is refreshingly simple: one TRS cable handles the expression signal, one TS cable handles the toe switch, running straight into your Kemper Profiler head, rack unit, or Remote floor controller. It’s built for that ecosystem across all current Kemper models.
Beyond Kemper gear, the EP1-KP also plays nicely with other devices that accept a switching expression pedal on a momentary TS switch — including current FAMC Liquid Foot MIDI controllers and the ISP Theta Pro DSP guitar preamp.
