Description
The Rewah Pro takes the classic wah circuit and rebuilds it around a custom-wound inductor modeled on the coveted vintage “halo” units, but doubled in core size. That extra iron, paired with a longer sweep travel, gives the Rewah Pro a wider frequency range, firmer bass response, and a cleaner, less saturated voice than a stock wah — which is exactly why it plays so well with low tunings and six- and seven-string guitars, without abandoning the vocal, vintage wah character players expect.
What sets this pedal apart from a typical wah on your board is the internal switch block. Four small switches let you “Rewah” the circuit into sixteen distinct tonal combinations, so you can dial the filter to match your rig rather than settling for one fixed sweep:
- Sw1 — adds a touch of gain and mild overdrive at the output transistor
- Sw2 — drops the filter’s center frequency slightly and narrows the bandwidth for a more nasal voice
- Sw3 — pulls the filter center down significantly for a bass-forward wah
- Sw4 — trims gain and widens bandwidth for a cleaner, more open response
Because these switches can be combined, the Rewah Pro can cover everything from a tight, biting vintage wah to a fat, low-slung filter suited to drop-tuned riffing — all from one enclosure. This unit is finished in gloss metallic candy purple with the aluminum Rewah badge, and is listed as open box in mint condition.
Place it early in the chain, before drive and modulation, and let the inductor do the work most wahs can’t.
