Control is refreshingly simple. The Sensitivity knob dials in how much compression kicks in (turn it up for maximum squash), while the Output knob sets your final attenuated level so you can match volume with your bypassed signal or push it for extra punch. A footswitch flips between effect and bypass, with a red LED confirming when it’s engaged—handy for finding it on a dark stage.
Built in the compact, road-ready MXR housing, the Dyna Comp fits easily on crowded boards without eating up real estate. Run it off a single 9-volt battery or a Dunlop ECB-003 AC adapter, whichever suits your rig.
