Description
Two knobs, one legendary yellow enclosure. The Distortion+ has been carving out gritty, germanium-flavored crunch since the ’70s, and it remains the reference point for that soft-clipped, slightly fuzzy edge that modern distortion circuits still chase. Keep the Distortion knob low and push Output to shove your amp’s front end into warm, breakup-y blues tones, or slam both controls for the saturated, buzzing gain that made Randy Rhoads a household name among guitarists.
Placement on your board is simple: it’s a straightforward gain stage that hits an amp’s input hard, so run it early in the chain ahead of modulation and time-based effects, or stack it with a boost for extra push. Hardwire bypass keeps things simple and true to the original circuit when the pedal is off.
This listing includes two 6″ patch cables, handy for linking the M104 to neighboring pedals without hunting down extra cabling.
