Description
Once your pedalboard grows past three or four pedals, battery swaps and daisy-chained power bricks start costing you tone and sanity. The MXR M237 DC Brick solves that with eight isolated 9V outputs and two 18V outputs, giving you enough clean, independent power to run nearly any combination of digital and analog effects side by side without ground loops or noise bleeding between circuits.
This is the successor to the original DCB10, rebuilt under the MXR name with double the power-handling capacity of that unit — so headroom-hungry pedals like high-current digital delays and modulation units share the same supply comfortably with vintage-style fuzzes and drives. Each 9V output carries its own red LED indicator that lights up the instant a short circuit occurs, so if something on your board misbehaves mid-set, you can spot the culprit output at a glance instead of unplugging everything to troubleshoot.
Compared to the outgoing DCB10’s seven 9V and three 18V outputs, the DC Brick shifts the balance toward more 9V capacity while still covering pedals that demand 18V headroom.
- Eight isolated 9V outputs
- Two 18V outputs
- Short-circuit/overload protection with per-output red LED fault indicators
- Handles roughly twice the power of the original DCB10
- Includes AC adapter and cables needed to connect your pedals
Mount it under your board, wire up your chain, and stop thinking about power for the rest of the night.
