Description
Need to swap between an acoustic and electric mid-set, or bounce between two basses without a scramble? The Radial BigShot i/o handles it with a single foot stomp, keeping your tone path 100% true-bypass so nothing gets colored along the way.
- Input-B carries a DIM level control, so a hot active preamp or louder instrument can be trimmed to match its quieter partner before it hits the amp.
- A two-position BRIGHT switch restores top-end that longer cable runs tend to eat, handy when one instrument (say, an upright bass) needs extra cable length.
- A dedicated tuner output pairs with a MUTE footswitch — stomp it and your amp goes silent while the signal routes to the tuner for a quiet on-stage check. An always-on tuner mode is also available for continuous monitoring.
Because it’s entirely passive, the BigShot i/o needs no power supply or battery — one less thing to charge or troubleshoot on a crowded board. It’s built compact and rugged enough to live on the floor permanently, whether you’re switching guitars, basses, or general hi-Z/line-level sources.
Typical setups: two electric guitars with mute-to-tuner switching; one active and one passive bass with bright-switch compensation; or acoustic-to-electric transitions with DIM leveling to tame a hot acoustic preamp. In each case, instruments feed INPUT-1 and INPUT-2, the amp connects to OUTPUT, and the tuner taps the switchable tuner-out jack.
Features:
- Single-stomp toggle between two instruments
- DIM level control for matching volumes
- Separate tuner output with mute switch
- Bright switch for long-cable compensation
- Fully passive, no power required
- Compact, rugged pedalboard-ready build
