Description
Most chorus pedals give you width. The 3D Shaman gives you depth. Rivera built this analog BBD chorus and vibrato around the idea that your rig doesn’t have to sound flat just because it’s mono — with independent wet-left, wet-right, and dry-center outputs, you can wire it into one amp, two amps, or a full three-amp spread and hear the difference immediately.
- Run it Mono (wet + dry blended), Stereo (wet L/R or wet/dry split), or full 3D mode (wet right, dry center, wet left) for a genuinely enveloping stage image
- Dual independent LFOs give Chorus and Vibrato their own separate Depth and Rate controls, so the two effects can move completely differently from each other
- Panoramic control widens the aural field dramatically — pedalboard builders chasing that multi-amp, larger-than-life stage sound will feel the difference right away
- Ef. Blend dials in exactly how much chorus sits on top of your dry signal, from a whisper of movement to a full drenched swirl
- Tone control shapes brilliance so the modulation stays musical instead of washing out your core tone
- Low-noise, largely discrete analog circuitry with a true BBD chorus engine gives it a studio-grade character rather than a typical stompbox one
Placement-wise, this pedal rewards a stereo-capable rig — put it toward the end of your modulation block, after gain and before time-based effects, and let the three outputs do the spatial work your amp alone can’t. Dimensions: 4″ D x 5″ W x 2.25″ H.
