Some boosts push your signal forward by coloring it along the way. The SUHR Dual Boost takes the opposite approach: two fully independent boost channels, each with its own Boost and Hi-Cut control, designed to add level and presence while leaving your core tone exactly as it left your guitar. That makes it equally at home as a solo-section push, an always-on line driver, or a utility boost for matching pickup output between guitars.
Under the hood, an internal charge pump circuit expands headroom and dynamic range well beyond what a standard 9-volt supply typically allows, so the signal stays clean and open even when you’re stacking gain elsewhere in the chain. A global Boost Range switch lets you set the ceiling at +10dB or +20dB, giving you room to dial in anything from a subtle nudge to a serious volume jump. Ultra-low-distortion, low-noise components were chosen specifically to keep the signal path transparent, so what goes in is what comes out — just bigger.
Suhr’s proprietary mfx switching also lets you assign either channel to buffered or true bypass, giving you control over how the pedal interacts with the rest of your board and cable runs. Housed in a compact, pedalboard-friendly enclosure, the Dual Boost runs on a single 9-volt battery or standard 9V regulated supply.
