The SUHR Iso Boost solves two problems at once: it gives you a genuinely transparent gain boost for pushing your amp harder, and it acts as a buffered line driver that keeps your tone intact through sprawling pedalboards and long cable runs. Rather than coloring your signal, it simply adds headroom and drive exactly where you need it — before a clean amp, into a cranked tube head, or anywhere in the chain that’s losing clarity.

Control-wise, it’s refreshingly simple. A single Boost knob dials in gain from unity (0dB) up to +20dB, so you can go from a subtle lift to a full-on push. The two-position ISO switch is where things get clever: flip it left to engage an internal transformer that isolates your output stage, killing ground loops between amps and effects — invaluable on boards feeding multiple amps or DI’d rigs. Flip it right for a non-isolated buffered output. Either way, the pedal stays buffered at all times.

Built-in intelligence extends to power management too. A battery monitor checks voltage at startup and continuously during play, warning you before a 9V runs dry — and if it does drop too low, the pedal automatically drops into true bypass so your signal keeps moving.
