Description
The Jack Rabbit is Suhr’s take on analog tremolo, built to cover a wide swath of pulsing textures without ever sounding sterile. Dial it back for a soft, warm wave that breathes under clean chords, or push it toward the edge of the range for a choppy, staccato chop that cuts through a mix. The modulation rate runs from 1Hz to 20Hz, and a tempo subdivision switch lets you sync the pulse to eighth-, quarter-, or other note divisions relative to your tapped tempo.
Tempo control is where this pedal earns its place on a board: use the tap footswitch to set your rate on the fly, or switch to strum mode and let your picking hand set the pace in real time. An FX Link jack (1/8″ stereo) opens the door to remote control – activate the effect or send external tap signals from another Suhr unit or compatible controller, which is handy for players running multiple modulation pedals in sequence.
Built like the rest of the Suhr lineup, the Jack Rabbit lives in a rugged aluminum enclosure and runs true bypass, so it stays transparent when off. It’s protected against reverse polarity and over-voltage, and its low current draw stretches battery life considerably.
