If your amp doesn’t speak MIDI, the Control Switcher translates for it. Built around four fully isolated relays, this unit takes any footswitchable amp function — channel switching, boost, reverb, EQ voicing, effects loop, whatever your amp exposes via 1/4″ jack or multi-pin DIN — and puts it under real MIDI control from a Voodoo Lab Commander or Ground Control Pro.
Each relay gets its own dedicated 1/4″ mono output plus access through the multi-DIN connector, so it plays nicely with both vintage-style footswitch jacks and the newer multi-function DIN ports found on modern amp heads. Front panel buttons give you instant manual access to any relay without touching your controller, which matters when you’re troubleshooting on a dark stage.
On a board or in a rig where real estate is tight, the Control Switcher’s footprint (6.2″ W x 3.1″ D x 1.2″ H) lets it disappear — behind the amp, tucked into a rack, or bolted straight to the pedalboard itself. It runs on standard 9V power, or it can pull phantom power over a MIDI cable from a GCX or Pedal Switcher, cutting down on wall-wart clutter.
Because it responds to both Program and Control changes, you can fold amp-channel switching into the same patches that recall your drive, modulation, and delay settings — one press, everything moves together.
