The Dingbat PX solves the eternal pedalboard puzzle: how to add real switching power without sacrificing the real estate your stompboxes need. Voodoo Lab machines this board from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum in Sonoma County, California, so it’s tough enough for the road yet light enough to actually enjoy carrying. The PX-8 PLUS true bypass switcher is pre-mounted underneath the surface, tucked out of sight, giving you 8 gold-contact relay loops for pristine, transparent switching with zero tonal smear.
Rather than tap-dancing between individual stompbox switches mid-song, you can fire off any of 36 onboard preset effect combinations with a single footswitch press, or run the board via MIDI to instantly recall up to 128 presets — handy for players juggling complex chains of drive, modulation, and time-based effects across a set. Because the switching lives below deck, the top surface stays clear for mounting roughly 8 to 12 pedals, depending on their footprint.
Mounting brackets are built in for Voodoo Lab Pedal Power supplies, and there’s room underneath for a second unit if your rig demands more isolated outputs. Voodoo Lab recommends pairing this board with a Pedal Power 4X4, Pedal Power MONDO, dual Pedal Power 2 PLUS, or dual Pedal Power 4X4 setups — note the PX-8 PLUS itself draws one output for its own power.
