Description
Board noise usually traces back to power, not pedals — and the Aetos exists to end that conversation. Walrus Audio built it around a custom-wound toroidal transformer rather than a cheap switching supply, giving you eight fully isolated 9VDC outputs with genuinely quiet, filtered current. Drop it under a pedaltrain-style board (it’s sized to fit under most) and every drive, delay, and digital modulation pedal gets its own clean slice of power, free from the hum and crosstalk that daisy-chains introduce.
Of the eight outputs, six are rated at 100mA for standard analog and digital pedals, while two step up to 250mA high-current outputs — exactly what’s needed for power-hungry units like Line 6 DL series modelers, Boss Twin pedals, and current-thirsty digital modulators that choke on standard supplies. A 120VAC auxiliary output is also on tap for accessories like tuners or lighting.
The housing is solid die-cast, not stamped sheet metal, so it shrugs off the bumps and pressure of life on a gig board while staying compact at 4.7″ x 3.7″ x 1.2″ (2″ at the connector height) and 3lbs.
