Description
The Monument V2 gives you two distinct tremolo engines in one compact enclosure. Standard mode delivers classic amplitude-chopping pulse, while Harmonic mode splits your signal into low-pass and high-pass paths that modulate 180° out of phase—a warm, “chewy” throb reminiscent of vintage Fender Brownface amps. Between the two, you’ve got everything from subtle vintage wobble to modulation textures that feel genuinely new.
Shape your wave with the Shape knob, cycling through Sine, Square, Ramp, Lumps, and a randomized Monument Mode for organic, ever-shifting patterns. Pair that with the Division knob (quarter, triplet, eighth, sixteenth notes) and onboard tap tempo, and you can dial in rhythmic subdivisions that lock tight to a song or drift into unpredictable, jagged territory.
The bypass footswitch does double duty. With the effect off, press and hold for momentary tremolo—perfect for one-off textural swells. With the effect engaged, press and hold to ramp the rate up, then release to let it settle back down. Set Depth to zero and push Volume past unity for an instant clean boost.
V2 improvements over the original:
- Rehoused in a smaller diecast enclosure
- Expanded side jack functionality—now handles external tap tempo or expression control over Rate, Depth, Shape, or Tap Multiplier, assignable on the fly (see manual)
- Refined tremolo response across the full rate range
- Top-mounted jacks for easier pedalboard routing
Specs: Diecast enclosure measures 4.77 x 2.9 x 2.3 inches. Runs on 9VDC, center negative, 100mA minimum. Walrus Audio recommends an isolated power supply (daisy chains not recommended); power supply not included.
