Roll the gain control up — and it has a genuinely wide sweep — and the AC Booster morphs into a saturated overdrive, then keeps climbing into full-on distortion territory. That range makes it a flexible centerpiece for any board: front-end boost for solos, always-on grit for rhythm tones, or a dedicated dirt pedal on its own.
Dedicated Treble and Bass controls let you shape the voicing rather than accept a fixed EQ curve, so you can flatten it out for transparency or scoop/boost to match a particular amp or guitar. Every unit is hand-wired and hand-built in the U.S.A. using premium components, and true bypass switching keeps your signal path clean when the pedal’s off.
Runs on a 9V battery or an optional 9VDC negative-tip adapter (regulated recommended) — neither is included. This listing also includes a free set of Ernie Ball Slinky strings.
