The AC Plus takes Xotic’s revered booster DNA and splits it into two independently voiced channels, each carrying its own pair of gain modes. That gives you four distinct tonal starting points before you even touch the stack button — and once both channels are engaged together, the range opens up considerably further. Expect the kind of shimmering, transparent lift Xotic boosters are known for, but with enough headroom and sustain on tap to push into warm, saturated overdrive territory when you want it.
On a pedalboard, this versatility makes the AC Plus useful in more than one slot. Run a channel early in the chain as an always-on sweetener that adds shimmer and touch sensitivity without smearing your amp’s own character, or place it later to layer extra gain and sustain onto an already-dirty signal. Because the two channels can be stacked with a single footswitch press, you get an effective third (and fourth) voice without needing extra real estate on your board.
