The Xotic BB Preamp v1.5 isn’t your average boost pedal — it’s a preamp in a stompbox, built to reshape your tone before it hits the rest of your chain. Dial in over 30dB of clean gain, then sculpt it with a ±15dB two-band active EQ that lets you add bite, warmth, or scoop without losing the character of your guitar and amp.
What sets the BB apart is its pre-gain stage. Roll it back and you get glassy, pristine clean tones with just a touch of lift. Push it forward and the pedal moves into smooth, compressed overdrive territory — the kind of saturation that thickens single notes and chords alike without turning to mush. That range makes it equally at home as an always-on tone shaper at the front of your board or as a mid-gain push into a dirty amp.
True bypass switching keeps your signal path clean and uncolored whenever the pedal is off, so it won’t rob tone from the rest of your rig. Power it with a 9V battery or an optional AC adapter (negative tip, regulated recommended) depending on how your board is set up.
This bundle includes a free set of Ernie Ball Slinky strings, so you can restring and start dialing in tones right away.
