Description
Most wahs give you one fixed voice. The Dunlop 535Q Crybaby hands you the controls instead. Its dedicated Q dial reshapes the filter itself, letting you go from a narrow, aggressive quack to a wide, mellow sweep without swapping pedals or hunting for a different wah entirely. Six selectable wah ranges sit underneath that Q control, so you can match the pedal’s response to a specific guitar, pickup, or song rather than settling for a one-size-fits-all curve.
Placed early in the chain — right where a wah belongs, ahead of gain and modulation — the 535Q also carries a variable boost of up to 16dB, useful for pushing a solo out front or compensating for volume loss through a long pedal chain. A hard-wired on/off switch keeps true bypass reliable and roadworthy, while Dunlop’s redesigned internal circuitry runs on less power and keeps the signal free of the unwanted distortion older wah circuits were prone to.
Power it with the Dunlop ECB03 adapter or a single 9-volt battery, whichever suits your board layout. This listing includes a free Fender polish cloth for keeping the rest of your rig looking as sharp as it sounds.
