The result leans creamy and saturated rather than gritty — sustain blooms naturally as you dig in, and the top end stays smooth instead of splattering into harsh overtones. Because it’s voiced for humbucker-loaded guitars, it sits particularly well as your first stompbox after the guitar, reacting to pick attack and volume-knob dynamics the way old-school fuzz should.
