Description
Built with Dimebag Darrell himself, the DB01 Cry Baby From Hell isn’t a standard wah — it’s a fully hot-rodded filter stage meant to sit at the front of a metal or hard rock chain and do serious damage. The sweep range is extended well beyond a stock wah, pushing further into biting high end when the pedal’s down and digging deeper into low end when it’s up. A fine tune knob lets you shape exactly where the toe-down sweep tops out, while the Q control widens or narrows the frequency breadth so the vocal-like quack can go anywhere from tight and focused to broad and vowel-heavy.
Flip it around and you’ll find the features that separate this from a basic wah circuit: a 6-way range selector on the side, a kick-in volume boost adjustable from 0 to +17dB for solo sections that need to cut, and LED indicators for both wah on/off and boost on/off so you’re never guessing what state the pedal’s in under dark stage lighting. An extra input on the left side also lets you route signal in and out on the same side of the pedal, simplifying pedalboard wiring.
Power it with a Dunlop ECB003 AC adapter or a single 9-volt battery. This listing includes two free 6″ patch cables, ready to drop straight into your signal chain.
