The Keeley 30ms Automatic Double Tracker brings a genuine studio trick to the pedalboard: automatic double tracking, the technique Ken Townsend and John Lennon developed at Abbey Road to make one performance sound like two. Instead of a standard modulation sweep, the 30ms builds width by detuning and delaying a second voice against your original signal, so the effect reads as fullness and depth rather than obvious pitch-warble.
- Dimension Mode — Skips the LFO entirely and lets you dial in your own tuning and delay for two distinct voices, either mono through one amp or split across two for a true stereo double-tracked field.
- Abbey Mode — Emulates parallel tape decks running at slightly different speeds, giving a lush, wide chorus-like sound without the familiar warble of a conventional chorus pedal.
- Slapback Mode — A double-tracked echo built for rockabilly slap, with two altered voices instead of a single repeat. Layer in the Abbey Verb here for something genuinely new.
- Abbey Verb — A built-in reverb modeled on the famous chamber at Studio Two, available in mono operation alongside the doubling modes.
Switch to Stereo Double Tracker Pro Mode and the reverb steps aside so you get full command over both doubled voices — each tunable up to 30 cents sharp or flat and delayed up to 30 milliseconds, from subtle thickening to dramatic, obvious doubling. Internal switches let you set the wet output to blend dry and effected signal or run effect-only, so true stereo double tracking is achievable live, not just in the studio.
