Description
Once your board grows past three or four pedals, daisy-chained 9v adapters start causing hum, hiss, and inconsistent headroom. The MXR M237 DC Brick solves that problem outright, delivering isolated power to every stompbox on your chain so drives, modulation, and digital units all get clean, quiet current without fighting each other for juice.
This unit builds on the original DCB10 platform but doubles its total power output, which matters a lot if your board mixes hungry digital delays or reverbs with simple analog fuzz and boost pedals. You get eight 9v outputs plus two 18v outputs – the 18v jacks are worth noting if you run pedals like certain MXR or Way Huge units that benefit from extra headroom and dynamic range at higher voltage.
Each 9v output carries its own red LED fault indicator, so if a patch cable shorts or a pedal draws too much current, you can spot the problem output instantly instead of unplugging everything to troubleshoot. Short circuit and overload protection is built into every jack.
- Eight isolated 9v DC outputs
- Two 18v DC outputs
- Red LED short-circuit indicator on each 9v output
- Doubles the power capacity of the original DC Brick / DCB10
- AC adapter and connecting cables included
This listing is for an open box unit in mint condition – fully functional, just not sealed in retail packaging. A practical way to power out a pedalboard without paying full price for the box.
