Description
For players who don’t want any circuitry between their guitar and their tube amp, the Radial BigShot ABY keeps things dead simple: 100% passive, true bypass switching, nothing to color your signal. Flip between amp A, amp B, or run both simultaneously with the combine setting — all without buffering, loading, or tone-shaping electronics getting in the way.
Running two amps together often invites hum and buzz from ground loops, and that’s where the BigShot ABY earns its keep. A built-in transformer can be switched in to break the loop and clean things up, while a 180-degree polarity reverse switch lets you flip phase so both amps stay locked together instead of cancelling each other out.
It’s built rugged and sized small, which matters when board real estate is already claimed by drive, modulation, and delay. Since it’s passive, there’s no power supply to route, no battery to swap, and no wall wart eating an outlet on your power brick — just plug in and go.
