Description
Some tone decisions shouldn’t require unplugging cables mid-set. The Radial CAB-Bone lets one amplifier head drive two separate speaker cabinets — say a Fender 2×12 open-back for cleans and a Marshall 4×12 slant for crunch — switching between them with a single footswitch tap.
- Gold-contact relays route the amp’s output to either cabinet without adding coloration or robbing tone
- Timer IC manages a ramped connection overlap, keeping a constant load on the output — critical for tube amp health
- SafeMode failsafe automatically routes signal to Speaker-1 if power drops
- Slingshot remote switching lets any standard footswitch control the unit from your pedalboard, cutting down on cable clutter between amp and cabinets; Slingshot can also trigger amp channel changes, effects, or other Slingshot-equipped gear
- 14-gauge steel chassis with baked enamel finish, built for the road, and completely transparent to your amp’s tone
Setup is straightforward: run your amp’s output into the CAB-Bone’s ‘FROM AMP’ jack instead of a cabinet, then connect your two cabinets to the ‘SPEAKER-1’ and ‘SPEAKER-2’ jacks using heavy-duty speaker cables with 1/4″ connectors. From there, switching is safe, silent, and instant.
Built for guitarists who run more than one cabinet and want that choice under foot control rather than buried in a cable snake — the CAB-Bone handles the switching so you can focus on playing.
