Two amp heads, one cabinet, zero compromise. The Radial Headbone TS lets you pair a valve amp with a solid-state amp and flip between them on the fly — rhythm through one, leads through the other — without ever leaving the speaker disconnected or unloaded.
Under the hood, switching is handled by relays, photocells and load resistors under digital control, not a noisy mechanical switch. Step on the footswitch and the Headbone sequences the change in an instant: it mutes the guitar signal, drops the speaker load, swaps the connection to the other head, reconnects the cab, and brings the signal back up. SafeMode is built in too, so if power ever cuts out, the unit defaults to Head-1/cabinet so your amp is never left running into thin air.
Signal integrity stays front and centre thanks to 100% discrete Class-A circuitry, and you get a choice of buffered or direct (unbuffered) input depending on how you want your guitar’s tone to hit the switcher. Setup is straightforward: guitar or pedal chain into the input, each amp head connected via its own send/return pair, and a single cable out to your cabinet.
For players who’d rather keep long guitar and speaker runs off the pedalboard, Headbone’s Slingshot system lets a standard footswitch remotely trigger the switching from wherever you stand, keeping the actual amp/cab wiring short and tidy.
