The EP Booster distills the preamp magic of the legendary EP-3 tape echo unit — the same circuit behind tones from Page, EVH, and Johnson — into a compact, always-on utility booster. Built around a discrete FET design with low impedance output, it delivers up to +20dB of clean gain with shimmering top end and full, undiminished lows, all without inducing ear fatigue during long sets. Internal DIP switches let you tailor boost frequency and EQ response to match your rig, whether you’re pushing a clean amp into breakup or just adding sparkle up front.
The SP Compressor runs on OTA circuitry borrowed from the design philosophy of the famed Ross Compressor, long considered a benchmark for guitar compression. It covers a wide tonal range — from vintage squash to subtle sustain-shaping to modern, transparent control — thanks to a dry blend knob, up to +15dB of boost, and an internal DIP switch for attack adjustment. It’s compact enough to tuck anywhere on a crowded board yet flexible enough for serious studio and stage work.
Both pedals share true bypass switching, a small 3.5″ x 1.5″ x 1.5″ footprint, and run on a 9V battery or optional AC adapter (the EP Booster accepts 9–18V for extra headroom).
